Our Weightlifting Barbell Drop Pads are designed to reduce noise and prevent vibration when a barbell is dropped from a height. They are designed to overcome heavy drops from various heights. They are perfectly suited for powerlifting and CrossFit exercises such as power cleans with push jerks and heavy-weighted deadlifts. The high-density foam inside our pads reduces noise/vibration as aforementioned but they also prevent the barbell from bouncing when dropped. This improves safety and also reduces damage inflicted on both the barbell and plates. Therefore, this product can extend the lifetime of your gym equipment. The foam is covered by a durable PVC cover and secured with a commercially graded zipper. The pads are sold as a pair and come with handles to allow for easy transport and storage.
Drop pads cater to both commercial gym clients and also home users. In a commercial environment, the pads prevent heavy drops from disturbing other clients due to reduced noise. In a home environment, where space may be limited, the pads prevent the barbell from rolling/ bouncing around whilst also lowering noise levels.
